Kyra Heneghan-Smith is a multidisciplinary artist from Edmonton, Alberta, graduating from the university of Alberta in May, 2021. Kyra’s contemporary practice focuses primarily on feminism, ecology, and environmental issues. Since childhood, Kyra has been interested in nature and the small details that exist within the outside world; this interest plays a key role in her work. As a commercial artist and designer, Kyra is interested in creating and designing products that are playful, sustainable, and revolve around themes of nature.
